Who We Are at ATA Greensburg
Our School
Everyone has someone to lean on at ATA Greensburg. Adults have a supportive community to join while every kid who joins becomes one of our kids. We have everyone’s back! You can join us on the mats and meet coaches who help you attain your personal goals. We’re here to help you become a little better every day. This is done through a compassionate, respectful, and fun teaching style that is strict but understanding. It is fun when it can be and serious when it has to be. It’s the perfect balance to optimize the student experience at ATA Greensburg!
History
ATA Greensburg has been a home for Taekwondo in Greensburg since we opened in 2004. We’ve grown and changed throughout the years, with student-turned-teacher Chris Martin taking over in 2022. Chris’s journey at ATA Greensburg started as a student after his daughter started training. He decided to give it a go and is now a 5th Degree Black Belt alongside his daughter, who is a 3rd Degree Black Belt. And now, he’s a school owner!
Since taking the reins in 2022, ATA Greensburg has gone through a full facility upgrade. The resources, training floor, aesthetic feel, and everything else have been improved. With his perspective as a student, parent, and coach, Chris has helped create a home for everyone!

We are proud to be an ATA school. The 55+ years of experience ATA provides helps us create a special Taekwondo environment.
We know that students go at their own pace and have things going on outside the school. Our team makes sure to teach more than just the athlete, but also the person.
Our coaches are not just instructors; they are leaders. They make sure to help each student become their best self physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Taekwondo is a great activity for kids. We’ve seen many of our students take a big step in the classroom thanks to the life skills learned in our classes. If your children need structure for school, ATA Greensburg is a perfect fit!
There are plenty of fun group activities that help build our culture. With different movie nights, week-long summer camps, birthday parties, parent’s night outs, and more, we bring together a community that goes beyond training.
